Digital Certificate of Authenticity

Frequently Asked Questions:

Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is a permanent digital record for a physical artwork or collectible. Each certificate is linked to a detailed provenance record and stored on the blockchain. Certificates can also be printed for your records and easily shared with others to prove ownership or verify provenance.

Each COA includes the Title of the painting, Production Date, Medium, Dimensions, it’s location on the blockchain, photos, and Jaime’s signature verifying the authenticity of the piece.

These certificates are used by leading galleries, artists and auction houses. They meet widely accepted standards for artwork classification by museums and cultural organizations (CIDOC-CRM, LIDO, Object ID compliance).

Blockchain technology lets us create permanent certificates that can be publicly verified while still protecting the privacy of owners, buyers and sellers.

The blockchain is a public record, so anybody can verify the existence of a certificate and check provenance instantly if they have access to the certificate. But the identity of key parties and transactional details can be kept out of public view.

And because the blockchain is tamper-proof, once a certificate has been registered or an update recorded, that record is permanent and will live forever.

This combination of security, transparency and anonymity is unique to blockchain technology and enables us to provide art certification and verification for the 21st century and beyond.
