Renewal is the replacing or repair of something that is worn out, run-down, or broken. This artwork is inspired by the renewal of nature and to help repair what we’ve broken. The force of a storm is needed to bring back new life and start the cycle once again. Together we can help renew our resources if we decide we want to.
Layers of oil paint, mark making, and other materials were used to help create texture and light in the original painting.
